We popped in to try the vegan menu and were surprised by the choice. Even off the main menu there was a ton of options. Staff helpful and friendly, food and cocktails very good. Marston's (and the penny hedge in particular) are really catering for us vegan lot
Wasn't expecting much from this hotel run by a pub. I checked in the pub by the very helpful staff. I get in the room and it's a good size with air conditioning, a bath and shower with ample shower gel if you forget your own. A good amount of plug sockets even by the bed. Breakfast is extra but very worth it. Breakfast starts at 0700 and is cooked to order not left out on a hot plate.
