La Rosa is full of character & has the most wonderful & welcoming staff. A great stay for exploring Whitby & surrounding areas.

This hotel is a very well run establishment I had a lovely stay and the staff were very helpful and friendly defiantly recommend it
It's lovely, quirky and full of old memorabilia from the very old, too the not so old. There's boardgames to play, themed rooms, and no TV! It has Internet access though, and wonderful beds that keep the cold away on frosty nights.
This hotel is one of my favourites. Service is wonderful and the experience is unique as is each of the rooms. you couldn't wake up to better views of Whitby (depending on which room). Can't wait to stay again!
