Amazing apartments close to amenities 10 minutes walk to the od town try and get a pool view much warmer sun all day long we went self catering and don't drink so cannot comment on the food or drink the staff are amazing very friendly but professional
Hasn't started too well. Place is very poorly signed so had to wander for a while before finding reception. After looking out the window for 5 mins realised we weren't the only ones to struggle. After finding reception we were told we had to pay a further 20 for the dog. Even though we'd booked in the dog online and paid. We were basically told if we didn't want to drive back the 160 miles back home and lose the total paid we would have to pay. We'd even rung to confirm the dog was booked with no extra charges. This I class as fraud and blackmail. However the apartment seems ok. Was looking forward to the swimming pool, I don't mind paying the 6. but disagree with the 40 minute timeslot. Not impressed by the service at all so far.
Excellent accomadation in central Whitby.Finished to a high standard.Ideal location to explore Whitby.Very reasonable price.
Having previously stayed at discovery accomodation in whitby me and my husband decided to book for the gothic weekend this year. Check in should have been 3pm, however, our room hadn't been cleaned so had to wait another 35 minutes to check in. Our room was disgusting! Ground in muck around every inch of the carpet and previous guests medication on the bedroom floor!! The mattress protector didn't fit the bed properly and the bathroom wasnt cleaned around the edges with the towel rail broken. We had paid extra for the swimming pool and sauna for saturday morning but to our dissapointment, the sauna wasnt even switched on. The shower was broken so couldnt even shower off properly. I am asthmatic so struggled with this and having paid 242 for 3 nights of rest and relaxation, found the whole expereience quite traumatic. When I complained I was offered 5% off a future stay with them. Well guess what? I wont be staying there again!! This gothic weekend turned out to be full of horrors!My advice, dont do it!!
Large, clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. So many rooms with enough bathrooms and en suites we never had to wait to go to the toilet and there were many of us. Well designed interior. There is a very large well equilled kitchen and a backyard I enjoyed chilling in and felt safe. I would highly recommend for large parties. There is assigned parking with lock and chain too! Note:There are many one way streets to get here so plan your route in advanced. One of the one way arrows has been covered so you can go up it but this hasn't been updated on Google maps or sat navigations.
