Wow what a museum set in a lovely park with views of the Abbey in the distance and it's huge inside with so much to see and not just about Whitby. The tea room is delightful and such friendly staff. It's an all day of a job so make sure you have plenty of time!!
Weird, wonderful and eclectic. A really great of an experience. Pays to read the information as there is so much to learn and see, no matter what your interests.
I was really impressed with this lovely museum and need to go again to see it all. It deserves a full days attention. It has a lovely cafe for a coffee and homemade food breaks.
Brilliant victorian museum. Fossil collection is fantastic, all collected from within 10 miles of Whitby. Entrance ticket valid for 12 months so we are definitely going again!
Wonderful place with an eclectic mix of displays. Quite poorly lit in some instances but understandable perhaps to preserve exhibits. Some just a bit difficult to properly appreciate in low light. Parking only for disabled and difficult to find in the nearby streets. But great experience! And lovely little cafe.
