Went here yesterday on holiday from Lincolnshire and lovely staff definaetley a family run business nice clean and cosy when meal came thought wow small not many chips but I just couldn't quite manage to eat it all was.delicious best fish I've had for a long time cooked perfect and the batter woe yummy and crunchy and proper coke from glass bottle yes maybe abit pricey compared to where I'm from but only thing to complain about was the seating different from the pic on here I'm 5ft4 and when sat down my feet couldn't touch the floor which by end of my meal my legs were hurting but other than that we payed left a tip for the young lads serving and me and my friend left happy and with a full contented belly thanku
Staff very young but polite & attentive. Portions extremely small, adult meals came on a child size plate & you could count the number of chips you got on one hand. Not value for money.
Sorry its not for me poor standards for quality everything swimming in grease. Where's the real whitby fish n chips. You can do better than that.

Very poor quality. Despite the takeaway promising all chips cooked fresh to order I got a portion from a hopper that were soggy, limp and chock full of grease. The man serving couldnt have been curter if his life depended on it and there was a general sense of not giving a toss. The sausage I got was also incredibly greasy and tasted incredibly poor quality - I know chippies dont use the highest quality sausages but this one was mind bogglingly blah. I ate a few chips before the greasiness made me feel ill - glad I didnt waste money on anything other than sausage and chips. Id never return, and Id strongly suggest you try any of the other take aways in the area (all of which had a queue while nobody was going near this place - should have realised there was a reason for this).
