Great traditional fish and chips. Really friendly staff suggested the best place nearby to take in the views of Whitby Abbey while we ate, couldnt have been lovelier.
One of Whitbys best kept secrets, you should always go to where the locals go & this is the one ! I adore the fish here, cooked to order mainly & lovely batter, very good size portions, Im salivating just typing this out...
Went as it was supposed to be one of the best in Whitby. The chips were edible - very, very greasy and stuck to the box, it was the fish that made this 3 stars. Could have been a lot better for the price.
Visited Whitby on Saturday 27/10 (Goth Weekend) & called at Silver Street Fisheries) for takeaway chips and fish pieces. The price and quality was superb.I would highly recommend vistors to Whitby take the time to find the outlet which is located on a backstreet, but well worth taking the time to find.
