Really enjoyed the fish and chips we had, nicely cooked, great thin batter which for us was perfect, only dropped 1 star because it was very cold in the restaurant despite a little electric heater sitting on the floor behind me.
What a stroke of luck!!. The place where I normally go over the road was closed, so I popped in here, and so glad I did. The restaurant was fairly busy, but I was immediately shown to a table by a lovely, polite waitress called Emily. I ordered my cod and chips and only had to wait a few minutes, and it had arrived!. Nice crisp chips and absolutely wonderful white fish in a crisp batter. As something of an aficionado of fish and chips, I've got to say these were the best I've had the pleasure of eating ( and I've eaten loads!). Emily looked after us all through our meal. She is a real credit to the restaurant. Top marks all round. I'll definitely be back .
Following a trip on the Santa express from grosmont we took the family here for fish and chips. Excellent place, wonderful staff, fantastic food. Thank you so much. I would recommend this place to friends and family. The staff could not do enough to help us out thank you so much.
One of the nicer chips shop's in whitby. Not to greasy and not to heavy on the batter. Pretty quick service. Fairly priced but not my best chippy.
Definitely wasn't wowed by the experience. Food was a little average and the team on shift came across as though they weren't having the best of days.There is a large selection of restaurants in the area and you would have thought each one would try to go the extra mile to entice you back again.
