What a stay at Shore View! This is the second time myself and a group of friends have booked with YCC and, quite honestly, we now wouldnt book with anywhere else for our stays on the Yorkshire coast. Shore View was perfect for the six of us; a subtle mix of cosy rusticity with modern tech features, and the most incredible views of Sandsends coastline. We woke up both mornings to watch the sunrise over the sea from our beds!! It doesnt get much better than that. Please pass on our sincere thanks tothe lovely team in the office too; they went above and beyond to make sure that the whole process - from booking to deposit return - was a lovely experience. Now, which property next!?
This is our 7th stay in one of the Yorkshire Coastal Cottages. Back again for our 3rd time at the old post office in Sandsend. This cottage is beautifully situated and has been renovated to such a high standard. Having rented through many other agencies over the years I would now only book through YCC for this coast as I know the photos and descriptions are an accurate representation of the rentals - all really well appointed. The Whitby office staff are really helpful and efficient - the welcome pack even included a bag of treats for our dog Dug! Looking at an 8th stay in late Autumn. Can't wait!!!The Singletons
Collected the damage deposit 6 weeks before the stay and then failed to return it despite the accomodation informing them no deductions would be made. Initially had no response to emails or phone calls. Eventually the money was refunded 17 days after the end of our holiday. Would recommend booking directly with the property where possible
We stayed at The Old Post Office in Sandsend and enjoyed 7 delightful days. The property is compact but well designed and with a touch of luxury that we admired. A couple of small teething problems were efficiently sorted by the management team. It was such a pleasure to sit on the sea facing balcony enjoying a coffee on a morning.Overall very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend this place!
A wonderful 3 day break staying at Ellerton Sandsend, the house was lovely. Yorkshire Coastal Cottages are excellent, would most definitely recommend booking through them. We look forward to booking another of their charming homes in the near future, that is if we can find one that is not already booked. Without a doubt 5 stars.
