Lovely clean space. Well kept grounds. Stayed in No.27 very well kept. Had a lovely time.
This place is absolutely incredible. We went at close of season so there was very little people traffic. On the site there is a reception but we didn't ask any help as it wasn't warranted. We had a cottage right on the river esk. And next to the beautiful victorian 13 arch Bridge. We walked over this, along the cinder track to get to Whitby, which was lovely. It took about 30 minutes, but we did have a pram.. We will definitely be back...
We holiday every year here its lovely place to stay houses are clean well presented steam train passes by every day
Nice peaceful site good accommodation,small swimming pool kids loved it! Nice view overlooking the River and great to watch the steam trains pass by. Great location next to the cinder trailer ideal for walking and cycling. About 20 minute walk into Whitby. Ideal base for exploring the area.
A good place to have a relaxing holiday , the staff are friendly and helpful. A nice setting by the river its nice to see the ducks who do the rounds to get breakfast and dinner also good to see wild life on the river fish jumping , herons and once we saw seals swimming down to the harbour. We have been here five times and would recommend it .
