We stayed at Bay Ness Farm August Bank holiday 2018. The site was excellent and the owners very helpful. The rules for 'arrive after 13:00' and 'leave by 13:00' are understood once you arrive. The road there is single lane with no passing places, and having a large caravan you don't want to meet another coming the other way !. Beautiful views and only a pleasant 30-45 mins walk to the lovely Robin Hood's Bay. Because on top of a hill, be sure to securely peg down Awnings and tents, as the wind can pick up. The owner provides guidance on where to pitch. Amenities are very good. We will definitely return to this site and had a wonderful time there. Perfect long weekend !
Nice and quiet. Prefect location, very clean facilities, nice owners. Dog friendly. Amazing view. night sky view was amazing.
Lovely campsite with very friendly owners and facilities which are exactly right. Washing up, hot showers whenever you want, freezer for ice blocks and they charge your phones or energy banks for you. We've visited twice this year.
We loved it here, spend two nights here between 1st-3rd of August. Very friendly, welcoming and close enough to walk to robin hoods bay. 10 minute drive to Whitby or 20 minutes dive to Scarborough.
The chap who met us was nice and friendly. Happy to stay for a bit of a chat with us.There are some bits of uneven ground but pick wisely and that's not a problem.Toilets and showers were always clean.Water pressure is a bit low but still usable.Access road is an ingenious use of concrete railway sleepers. Sounds strange in the car but perfectly fit for purpose!Views are stunning!!Great access to Robin Hood's Bay is just over 2 mile down the cinder track. Access to the track is a bit steep. Fine for us but if your less fit or not very sure footed you will have to take it easy but still manageable.We will be back for another stay. We have recommended Bay Ness to all our friends.
