Loved Sherlock's, food, drinks, atmosphere everything about this coffee shop was Great. Will go back without hesitation.

Went to Whitby today. I have been loads of times during the summer and not been able to get into Sherlocks because it has been so busy. Today, cold January day... got in.yeah....My God, what an experience... great coffee, unbelievable low prices... ahem ( sexy waitress) I cannot wait to get back. I think the waitress actually owns it or something... worth experiencing. The coffee that is, not the waitress. 10 out of 10 for all the staff. This is how coffee shops should operate... excellent.
I have been to Sherlock's lots of times and love this quirky cafe. A lot of thought has gone into the decor and it feels like stepping back in time to the time of Sherlock himself. The food is excellent and the cakes are fantastic. My only complaint is that l have ordered prawn sandwiches twice and they don't drain the prawns so the bread becomes soggy and it runs all over your hands. I did mention it the second time but it was the same. No problem . . . there is plenty of other delicious food to choose from.
Such a great little place, so different and cosy inside. Made a fabulous cup of coffee and cheese scone. Friendly staff and great prices
