Really fun short tour. This 40% scale reproduction of the Endeavour is built much like the real thing with the major difference being the diesel marine engines. The tour is well priced and competitive with the others in the harbour. A relatively brief history of Captain Cook is given by recording played on the tour with some sea shanties thrown in for good measure.The Bark Endeavour bobs up and down plenty giving a good feeling of being at sea.
The captain cook experience ....On our second day we decided to go on the replica endeavour sailing ship for a 25 minute trip from the harbour , what an experience it was so authentic with audio description cutting in from the old shanty songs , with the beautiful masts and added extras of a sleeping cat , the crew was so fantastic and amusing they even pointed out the crocodile cliff which I must admit does look like one but can really only be seen from sea, the boat rocked as the original must have which gave a more thrilling experience , for 3.50 it's so worth it but if it's hot slap on the sun protection as it's decieving out on the sea , would of gladly paid extra for a longer trip . 5* all the way for these guys .. forget the others you need the realistic voyage.
