I come here camping every year, lovely site
Great small traditional campsite - set across two fields. Cars are parked away from tents to create safe area for kids to play in, and there are a collection of children's bikes for guests to use on site. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Sally who runs the site is friendly and very helpful. There are a handful of chickens that have the run of the site too! In terms of location there are no shops really nearby, Whitby is around a ten minute drive away and Staithes a similar distance. Will definitely return next year.
Loved this campsite, The couple running the site couldn't do enough for us - they dug out spare camp tables, bikes for the little ones and a BBQ for us to use! There were a few friendly hens wandering about which was lovely, and we saw a barn owl which had a nest and a chick in the toilet block!
Lovely site and setting...everything is.immaculate nothing at all to fault. Sally cannot do enough to help. Pitches are very spacious and toilets and showers are immaculate. Very handy for Whitby the moors and coastal villages. Hopefully see you again end of September.
A 20 minute drive from Whitby this beautiful little site is situated in farmlands bordering the North Yorkshire Moors. The campsite owner, Sally, welcomed us on arrival, showed us around the site and provided us with a little information pack on the site and things to do in the area. Also giving us a choice as to where to set up as it was a Monday and reasonably quiet. The toilets an showers where all easily accessible and immaculately clean. Parking was in an adjacent field but we were able to unpack our van on the camping field then park separately, though it wasn't far. We had a lovely few days here exploring the local towns. Fell in love with Robin Hood's Bay with all it's tiny streets. At 7.50 per person per night it was really good value. They also take campers and caravans not sure if it's the same price though. Would definitely come here again.
