Plenty of safe parking within walking or pushing distance of main town and seafront. Good view of the river. Toilets nearby too. Some really good chippies not far.
Nice size car park with plenty of spaces and only a 2 minute walk from the shops
Clean and tidy with lots of spaces but on a busy day it only had 2 out of 4 ticket machines working and one of those would accept certain change.
A bit pricey, but only a few minutes walk to the swing bridge... and the public toilets are free to use!!!! This car park is very popular and fills up very quickly.
A little bit of a tight squeeze on the coach park but it's catering for more cars than coaches since I last visited. But nevertheless Whitby is still a great place for a nice countryside and seaside resort to visit and especially when the weather is good and clear. But you may just get a chance to see live steam in action as the North Yorkshire moors Railway company runs them into Whitby from Pickering. A Real treat today expensive but good for the heart and mind ....
