Great place overlooking the harbour. Friendly staff and good selection of beers, including fine real ales. Limited food but a popular bring your own fish and chips, which is a quirky treat. Live music at weekends and a generally all round good atmosphere. Supporters of the lifeboats.

The Endeavour is a proper pub with an excellent range of beers and a surprisingly large selection of gins and mixers.In colder months there is always a roaring fire and a cracking atmosphere.This pub is just so good that I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. The Endeavour is always at the top of our 'to visit' places in Whitby.
Dog friendly pub. Good music and good beer. No food but take your own take out and there's cutlery, and condiments provided. Great friendly staff..Looking forward to going back.
Quirky pub. Bring your own supper. The nice folks sat next to me are enjoying fish and chips. If I had known I would have brought some myself. Lovely punters, very friendly staff lovely not sure why they need security on the door. Acoustic guitarist playing after 9pm. Log fire lit in colder months. Perfect pub. Ticks every box for me.
