The staff and decor make this place as special as it is. We went last night and the only thing I can fault is the service. They are quickly on the ball, topping the drinks up, hence I become rather drunk. I wish I could've thanked them for their wonderful hospitality but sadly I could no longer speak. Will be back.
The past few times I have been to Whitby, my wife and I have called into Harry's Bar for a drink or two. The staff are really friendly, well mannered, and helpful.The decor is very tasteful and modern. The drinks are great and the food is tasty. Add to that the cleanest toilets on the planetand you have an almost ideal pub. (The loo was exceptionally clean and smelt like a branch of 'Lush') Great work folks. See you again at Whitby Goth Weekend.
Fantastic Fish and Chips(not greasy), mushy peas made with real mint and not from a can. organic Cider. Brilliant staff and sun shinning. Not much more you could ask for. Totally perfect.
Great little place with some great food. Best way to describe it is Tapas but with seafood!Each dish was tasted excellent and presented well. Wasn't overly expensive for what we had. Highly recommended
We popped in for a coffee and was warmly welcomed as we entered. The bar was clean and tidy with comfortable furniture. The coffees were tasty and good value. We decided to go back for some lunch as the specials menu looked good. We weren't disappointed. The fish and chips was lovely. We would go back again.
